Blue Spruce/ Hemlock is a coniferous tree. The tree is known to live long life; the oldest age record is over 500 years old. 

It grows in Alabama, Georgia, Minnesota, Nova Scotia, Pennsylvania, and Quebec; they grow in other areas in Canada and the US. Spruce likes the cool weather with humidity. The native Indians used the twigs in steaming hot baths to get relief from rheumatism, and the respiratory illnesses. They used it also to heal wounds.
