Its Latin name rosemarinus, means ‘Dew of the Sea’. Sprigs of rosemary were burnt at shrines in Ancient Greece and the ancient Romans wore rosemary sprigs behind the ear to aid concentration and memory. We use rosemary verbenone,which is skin friendly, and a gentler type of rosemary used in skin preparations. Aroma has a warm, soft, and slightly sweet herbaceous-resinous scent. Encourages relaxation, concentration, and is a great pick-me-up.
