Where are all of your products made?

Our raw ingredients are collected from all over the world, but the manufacturing is done here in the USA.

Where do you buy your ingredients used in your blends from?

Our ingredients come from locations near and far. We make it our responsibility to help small producers thrive. Sometimes it is incredibly difficult to communicate with them because of the language barrier, time zone differences and lack of technology on their side of the world, but we will make the extra effort because it is worth it! We are always looking for new products and suppliers with a consistently safe and clean environmental record. We choose our suppliers very carefully to ensure the highest quality of ingredients.

Which carrier oils are used in your products?

We use carrier oil for our aromatherapy blends. We find from personal experience and our clients’, that our products soften, moisturize the skin, and elevate the general feeling of a person after application.

For the BOMO Cacao line we use Safflower oil.

For the BOMO Professional we use Camellia, Avocado, and Safflower oils.

Are your products organic? 

Our goal is to use the highest quality organic essential oils in all of our products. It is incredibly important to use the highest quality, because the most benefits come from the best ingredients. For this reason our products are clearly labeled 100% organic, or 98% organic, etc.

For example all of our carrier oils are 100% organic. Our carrier oils include individual ingredients that are extracted by “cold pressed” method. This way, the ingredients retain the most vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids possible.

Can you make custom blends?

We welcome any special requests. Custom blending fees start at $200 per blend regardless of the quantity. The blend belongs to Mixaroma Inc., and after one year the company reserves the right to use this blend in the regular product offerings. We spend countless hours perfecting our blends, and handle every request professionally. We also make seasonal blends. Please contact us at sales@mixaroma.com for more information.

How do I know if your products smell good?

First of all, our products are panel tested to make sure they are pleasant to a majority of people in all age groups. A single product can smell intoxicating or off-putting to different people. As with food, it all depends on taste. We offer sample sizes for purchase so that you can sample our offerings.

How do you recommend I store my products after I receive them?

Our products do contain natural preservatives. Heat and direct sunlight will degrade the quality of our products. In general, it is advisable to keep products no more then six months. 

Do I place my order online, by email, by fax, or by phone?

For individuals, online ordering recommended.

For the professionals orders can be taken by all of the above, online ordering is the preferred one. If the customer wants to place an order by phone, we will write up the order and fax it back for approval.

 Are your oil blends appropriate to use during pregnancy, pre-natal or with babies

 Our NUUD blend of unscented carrier oils(Camellia, Avocado, and Safflower) is great for pregnant women, and babies. The blend is unscented so it not offensive to adults, or babies’ sensitive scent ability.
